MY JOURNEY
My name is Leah Huelsing. I have twenty-two years of operational management experience in the health information management industry. I am currently a VP of Operations for Precision Data Capture in Swansea, Illinois. I am also the Head Women's Soccer Coach at the University of South Carolina Sumter.
I am pursuing an MBA in Sports Management so that I can develop a dream career in intercollegiate athletics. I played NCAA D2 soccer at Montana State University. I coached competitive club soccer for ten years with Real STL Soccer, Missouri Rush Soccer, and Sports STL Soccer. I would love to be an Athletic Director at a large university or use my operations experience at a professional sports organization.
I love mentoring young, female athletes not just on the field but with their academic success, social skills, mental health, and career choices.

Fontbonne University was originally founded in 1923 as a women's only college, and later became co-ed in the 1970s. Fontbonne is a private, Roman-Catholic institution that was previously known as St. Joseph's Academy and Fontbonne College.
